What Every Parent Should Know About ADHD

Many people think they know what ADHD looks like - hyperactivity, inattentiveness, impulsivity. But in reality, that's only the tip of the iceberg. This parent training session gives you a much more detailed perspective and deeper understanding of ADHD in children. We will also provide you as a parent with helpful tools to support your child to cope with the everyday expectations at home, school, and in the community.

You will learn about:

  • ADHD and the different ways it can present

  • The diagnostic assessment process and treatment

  • Accommodations and strategies for daily life

  • Tips on how to strengthen the parent-child relationship

Cost: $40 per person, $70 per couple. Parents only. Cost be eligible for reimbursement through health insurance as psychological services for parents of children with ADHD.
