TRAINING IN CORE SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM.
Many children learn to interact with others naturally, recognizing social cues, being able to be flexible in play, knowing what is expected in situations involving others, and being confident enough to go forward and get involved in a way that makes others feel good with them.
But for many children, this does not come naturally. For various reasons, some children just do not think about or pay attention to others in their world, or understand how to read the messages that others are giving them. They may not know what is expected in a given situation such as when someone greets them or when they go out onto the playground, or when joining in a conversation. They may develop anxiety regarding social interaction because of their lack of comfort and confidence. For these children, and their parents and teachers, we have developed the TRAINING IN CORE SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM.
